Danielle Hunter Selected to County Council District 6 Seat
On January 5, 2026 Wala Blegay was appointed to serve as Council Member At-Large, leaving the District 6 seat vacant. On Friday, January 9, the Prince George's County Council appointed Danielle Hunter to replace Wala Blegay. Attached is a list of applicants, including resumes and letters of interest, for the District 6 seat. The proceedings were streamed online at https://pgccouncil.us/LIVE on Friday January 9, 2026.
