The Largo Civic Association, Prince George's County, Largo, Maryland, is established to promote the advancement and welfare of the community as a whole and to engender a spirit of neighborliness and friendliness within the community. LCA Meetings
September Meeting!
The next LCA Meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on September 16, 2026 at Everly Apartments (97 Capital Court in Largo, Maryland). A new set of Largo Civic Association constitution and bylaws were adopted.
Community Survey - The Central Avenue Redevelopment Project
Prince George's County residents now have an opportunity to vote on the name for the Project Name of Six Flags Redevelopment!
The development group has opened a public poll with five (5) options:
1) The Ascend at Central Avenue: Symbolizes growth, progress, and opportunity.
2) The Gathering: Captures the vision of a welcoming place to live, work, shop, dine, and come together.
3) The Foundry at Central: Draws on the idea of a place where ideas, businesses, and communities are shaped.
4) The Axis at Central Avenue: Reflects the idea of a central point where people, businesses, and opportunities converge.
5) The Nexus at Central Avenue: Represents the convergence of community, commerce, culture, and innovation.
